Winter Olympics Travel
The 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games are barely one month away and if you haven’t made your travel plans yet there’s still a bit of time. While hotel accommodation near Olympic venues may be challenging to obtain and very expensive, there are many available options in and around Vancouver and Whistler.
Consider non-traditional accommodations like a Bed & Breakfast or a stateroom aboard the Norwegian Star Cruise Ship. (Norwegian Cruise Lines will offer special accommodations aboard the Norwegian Star during the Games.)
New inventory is being added on a regular basis so it is important to check the official destination planning site for the Olympic and Paralympic Games and the host cities tourism sites frequently. This site provides information on the Host Cities (Vancouver, Richmond, Whistler) as well as key travel planning information for the communities nearby.
