Global Citizenship: Sustainability

“We cannot hope to create a sustainable culture with any but sustainable souls.”
― Derrick Jensen
Sustainable Travel is the twin sister of responsible tourism. Both are focused on the impact that tourism has on local communities, but sustainable tourism is also concerned with conservation and tourism development’s environmental impact.
Sustainable travel is a way to transform tourism in such a way that negative impacts of tourism can be minimized on long term basis and natural & cultural environments can be protected successfully. Be a conscious traveler- make eco-friendly choices as you travel. Reduce carbon footprints, purchase local or indigenous products, volunteer for conservation trips and protect nature and its resources.
