New Orleans’ French Quarter Festival 2013 – Hour One

World Footprints celebrated in style for our 6th annual French Quarter Festival broadcast from the Big Easy in 2013! Our LIVE broadcast earned us a distinguished award from the North American Travel Journalists Association. We are pleased to share the first hour of our award-winning show today. Interviews included first-time New Orleans visitors Chad Kerkman and Jerry Krueger, award-winning actor Terence Rosemore (HBO Treme), and Bradley Sumrall, curator for the Ogden Museum of Southern Art (the largest house for southern art in the world). For art lovers French Quarter Festival New Orleans is the place to be today so join us and let the good times roll.
French Quarter Celebration is a free, yearly live concert held toward the beginning of April, situated in the noteworthy French Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana. The celebration includes essentially New Orleans music from many nearby artists, as well as food from many New Orleans cafés. During French Quarter Celebration, more than 23 stages perform. From these stages, you’ll hear all kinds of music, like jazz, blues, zydeco, Latin, Cajun, rock and more.
