World Footprints is joined by an all-star cast of artists who have traveled the world to realize their dreams.  Actress and Super Model, Natasha Alam joins World Footprints to talk about her latest role as “Yvetta”, Alexander’s new love interest, and her amazing journey of courage and determination that took her from Uzbeartiskistan to Hollywood.   

Then, Singer/Songwriter Elizabeth Elming is a classically trained artist who has perfected her craft in London and throughout Canada and she’ll join us to share the musical journey she has embarked on.   

Finally, marital artist, writer and actor Antonio Graceffo, better known as “The Monk From Brooklyn”, discusses his decision to leave corporate America for a childhood dream of a life of adventure in Vietnam and beyond.

True Blood actress Natasha Alam

NATASHA ALAM is an actress/super model who is currently starring in season 3 of the HBO original series True Blood. Natasha became a princess during her previous marriage to Amir Ebrahim Pahlavi Alam, the grandson of the Shah of Iran.  Since moving to Los Angeles, Natasha has appeared on more than twenty network televison shows in her career, including CSI, NYPD Blue, The Unit, and Entourage. Natasha can also be found on the cover of Playboy Magazine’s July 2010 edition, and has previsously graced the pages of Maxim Magazine as well.

Singer Elizabeth Eliming

Elizabeth Eliming began singing at the age of seven, training classically until the age of eighteen. During that time she completed two seasons with the youth chorus of the Canadian Opera Company, under the direction of Anne Cooper Gay, as well as lead roles in various professional theatre productions.          “Annie”  – (Lead role, Annie),  The Sunshine Festival Theatre Company          “The Wizard of Oz” – (Lead role, Dorothy), The Stirling Festival Theatre Company           “Hänsel und Gretel” – (Lead Role, Hansel),  The Canadian Youth Opera Chorus           “The Magic Flute” – (Secondary role, The third lady) , The Canadian Youth Opera Chorus She has soloed twice at Massey Hall in Toronto, performing the Canadian Premiere of “When You Believe” from the Dreamworks animated movie “The Prince of Egypt” and Gabriel Faure’s “Pie Jesu”.  She has studied with internationally renowned, classically trained baritone, Steven Henrickson from the University of Windsor and at the Royal Conservatory of Music with Donna Sherman in downtown Toronto. After living and performing in England for two years, she has returned to Canada to write and record with producer Rob Wells in Toronto. Recently CEO of Songwriteruniverse.com, Dale Kawashima, featured her song “Home To Me” as the “Best Song of The Month” and she has completed a demo for prominent songwriter/publisher Vince Degiorgio of Chapter Two Productions.

Television host Antonio Graceffo

Antonio Graceffo is the host of the web TV show, “Martial Arts Odyssey” and an adventure travel and martial arts author living in Asia. He has penned 6 books, including The Monk from Brooklyn, Adventures in Formosa, Rediscovering the Khmers, The Desert of Death on Three Wheels, Boats, Bikes, and Boxing Gloves: Adventure Writer in the Kingdom of Siam, and his latest book, Warrior Odyssey: The Travels of a Martial Artist in Asia. Antonio has studied Kung Fu at the Shaolin Temple in China, and a Muay Thai at a temple in Thailand. When not training or writing, he works as a martial arts consultant for TV shows such as Human Weapon, Digging for the Truth, Kill Arman, The Art of Fighting, Samantha Brown’s Asia, and Thai TV shows about Muay Thai Chaiya and Kun Khmer Champions in Cambodia. Beyond martial arts, Antonio is also a skilled linguist, with fluency in multiple languages, including Mandarin Chinese, Thai, Khmer, German, Spanish, Italian, and French.
