FLY LINQ Zip Line Opens In Las Vegas For Daredevils and Enthusiasts
For those adventurous enough and not scared of heights, there is a new attraction in Las Vegas that is sure to give people a thrill.
The new attraction is called the FLY LINQ at the LINQ Promenade, which is a zip line along the infamous Vegas strip. The zip line opened up on Jan. 1 and has a special superheroes theme display.
10 people wearing superhero costumes with the FLY LINQ brand opened the attraction. They flew above the LINQ Promenade located outside the Caesars Palace among a plethora of colorful confetti being shot off by cannons.
The $20 million attraction is the latest attraction on the High Roller, which is the tallest observation wheel in the world. It has 10 side-by-side zip lines that can be used at the same time. Fliers will take off from a 114-floor tower to a 54-foot landing tower, which is a distance of 1,121 feet away from each other. Fliers have the option to fly like a superhero or sit down.
A person must weigh at least 60 pounds and no more than 300 pounds to ride. Riders must be at least 40 inches high to enjoy the ride.
The ride takes up to 45 seconds with a 35 miles per hour average speed. The zip line is open every day, starting at 11:30 a.m. and go through midnight Sunday through Thursday and until 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Ticket prices will depend on the time of day for participation. In the day, seated passengers may pay $25 where superhero fliers pay $35. Nighttime ticket prices increase by $5 for each position.
